1) Setting MMSI
1. Turn on power, and press S1 (NMI SW) on CONTROL/MODEM board.
2. Then, * EEROM Clear * screen appears. Enter a password “652111”. Nothing
changes on the screen.
3. Select “MMSI CLEAR”, and press [ENT] key. Then, the default setting of MMSI
appears.
4. Enter the MMSI of the own ship, and press [ENT] key. Then, a message “PLEASE
POWER DOWN” appears. Turn off the power once, and then turn on again.
2) Setting SYSTEM menu
Canceling PROTECTION:
1. Press [SETUP] key while the DSC standby screen is selected.
2. Select SYSTEM using the cursor keys, and press [ENT] key.
3. Confirm that “PROTECTION ON” is highlighted on the bottom of the screen, and
then enter a password “652111”.
4. The indication changes to “PROTECTION OFF” to show the protection has been
canceled.
