5.1.4 Check list for noises and interferences
Make sure that no equipment and display units are interfered during
transmission of MF/HF transceiver or TLX. Check whether the interference
exists or not in all the frequency bands, using the table below.
Table 5.1.6
Check items Results
Checking interferences from the MF/HF transceiver to the power circuit
Set the BATT CHARGER switch on the battery control panel to OFF, AUTO,
and MANUAL position respectively, and check the interference at each
position.
–The indicator of the voltmeter and the ammeter shall not move abnormally
during transmission.
Set the BATT CHARGER switch on the battery control panel to OFF, AUTO,
and MANUAL position respectively, and check the interference at each
position.
–The brightness of the “LOW” and “IN USE” indicator shall not vary during
transmission.
Set the BATT CHARGER switch on the battery control panel to OFF, AUTO,
and MANUAL position respectively, and check the interference at each
position.
–”K1: power supply relay” of the battery charger (BC-6158) shall not
abnormally chatter during transmission.
Brightness of the indicator lamp of PR-300 shall not vary during transmission.
The output voltage of DC 24 V of PR-300 and PR-850A (AR) shall not
change during transmission. Any abnormal sound shall not be generated.
Checking interferences from the MF/HF transceiver to the display screen
The screen and illumination of the MF/HF transceiver shall not vary during
transmission
Indications or numbers on the screen of DSC-60 shall not vary during
transmission.
Indications or numbers on the screen of FELCOM 12 terminal shall not vary
during transmission.
The displays on the screen of DP-6 terminal shall not vary during
transmission.
Checking interferences from the MF/HF transceiver to the accessories.
Brightness of the LED of IC-302/303 shall not vary during transmission.
The transmitting radio wave shall not interfere with IC-302, activating distress
alert of FELCOM 12.
The printer head shall stand still during transmission.
Brightness of the emergency lamp shall not vary during transmission.
Brightness of the illumination lamp shall not vary during transmission.
The position data displayed on DSC-60, DP-6, and FELCOM 12 shall not
vary during transmission.
