6.1 Selftest

6.1.2 AT-1560
The test is made when any trouble relating to antenna tuning occurs. Check whether the
respective antenna matching constants are selected in order by relays.
To start the test, press S3: TUNE switch after DIP switch S2-#2 inside the shield case is
set to ON. The LEDs show the function of the relays, which control the matching circuit.
If the check is made successfully, matching circuit returns to its original condition.
If check result is NG, CR1, 2, and/or 3 lights up according to the faulty circuit. If one of
LEDs lights, CPU:U1 is defective. Change the coupler board (05P0528).
6.1.3 FS-5000
To start the test, press [RCL] 99xx and [ENT] keys. It is recommended that use 9900 to
check all items. Using 2475 kHz signal, the receiver is checked in SSB mode with the
DUP-FIL and PRE-SEL circuits set to OFF, AGC ON, and RF GAIN Max. The
transmitter is checked at the displayed frequency in SSB mode.
Understood are the frequency of the check signal and the circuits which the check signal
passes through.
6.1.4 AT-5000
This test is carried out when any trouble relating to the antenna tuning occurs.
All antenna matching circuits are sequentially selected one after another by the relays
during the test. To commence the test, press the [S2:Check] button.
The LEDs show the function of the relays which control the matching circuit. If the
check does not find any error, the matching circuit returns to its original matching state.
If NG, CR1, 2, and/or 3 lights up according to the faulty circuit. If any of them lights,
the CPU:U1 is faulty. Change the coupler board (05P0358).
