Vehicle model with a conventional ignition
switch:
- Insert the mechanical key into the ignition
switch.
- Make sure the gearshift lever is in the “P”
or “N” position.
- Depress the brake pedal and ensure
indicator lamp turns green.
- Turn the mechanical key to switch the
ignition switch to “START” position to start
the engine.
Vehicle models with an ENGINE START/
STOP button:
- Enter the vehicle with the intelligent
remote control key carried.
- Make sure the gearshift lever is in “P” or
“N” position.
- Depress the brake pedal and ensure
indicator lamp turns green.

5.1.2 Engine start

If the battery level is low and the engine
cannot be started, try to start it with a
jumper cable.
It is prohibited to start the engine by
pushing or towing the vehicle.
