String Trimmer.
Please keep these operating
instructions in a safe place.
2. Information regarding the operating instructions
The GARDENA String Trimmer
has been designed for trimming
uncultivated areas, thick weeds
and tall grass in and around the
garden.
This trimmer is for private use
only and is not designed for use
in public places, parks, sport
arenas, street-scapes, in agricul-
ture or forestry.
It is essential to observe the
manufacturer’s operating instruc-
tions to ensure the unit’s proper
functioning. These instructions
also contain advice for service,
maintenance and repair.

reasons the unit must not
be used for hedge trimming
or for chopping up for com-
posting.
3. Proper use
Before beginning work, fix
and adjust the enclosed safety
cover

as well as the additional
handle

and the shoulder strap

Insert the safety cover

groove of the cutting head support

snap-in.

is properly seated by lifting.

fastened, it is non-detachable
from the cutting head support.
