This document describes the GBF WiFi IP Indoor Monitor MR920, a smart indoor monitor designed for home security and communication.
Function Description
The GBF WiFi IP Indoor Monitor MR920 serves as a central control unit for an indoor security system, allowing users to monitor outdoor stations, communicate with visitors, and manage various settings. It supports real-time monitoring, video recording, and remote unlocking. The device integrates with the "doordeer" app, enabling remote management and interaction from a smartphone.

The indoor monitor supports both WiFi and RJ45 cable network connections, offering flexible connectivity options. It is designed to work with multiple door stations and can be expanded with additional indoor monitors within a single household. The device features a touchscreen interface for easy navigation and control.
Usage Features
Installation and Setup:
- App Installation: Users must first install the "doordeer" app from the App Store (iPhone or iPad) or Google Play (Android mobile phone).
- Account Creation: After installation, users need to sign up for a "doordeer" account. The app requires choosing a nearby service region for optimal experience.
- Adding the First Indoor Monitor:
- The monitor supports both WiFi and RJ45 cable network connections.
- If using an RJ45 cable, ensure the router and switch support DHCP, and turn on mobile phone WiFi settings to choose the same network as the indoor monitor.
- The app will automatically find the indoor monitor and add it to the device list.
- If using WiFi, navigate to the "Settings" menu on the monitor, then select "Wifi setting."
- Find your WiFi network name and click to connect.
- Input the WiFi password and confirm to connect the monitor.
- Adding the Monitor to the App:
- Open the "doordeer" app and slide the left sidebar to "Add Device."
- Select "LAN Search" to find any online indoor monitor on the same network.
- The new device will appear in your device list as "Monitor-hhxxxx." Click on it to add it.
- Naming the Indoor Monitor:
- You can assign a custom name to your indoor monitor.
- In the "SET UP PLAYLIST" section, select the checkbox for the outdoor station you want to connect to and confirm.
- Binding Outdoor Station:
- After selecting the outdoor station, the app will show "Binding device succeed." Press OK to continue.
- The indoor monitor icon will be successfully added to your system and displayed in the "doordeer" app. You can press the "Setting" icon to rename the monitor or select a second outdoor station.
- Binding Doorbells:
- On the indoor monitor, click the "Setting" button, then "Playlist."
- You can choose different outdoor stations or multiple door stations from the device list to bind to the indoor monitor.
Indoor Monitor UI Introduction:
After being added to the app, the indoor monitor will automatically reboot and update the system within 10 minutes. The main screen displays:
- Moments: Cloud record activities and SD record playback.
- Live: Real-time monitoring and unlocking.
- Settings: Switch to WiFi setup mode/Ringtone settings.
Basic Settings:
Users can set ringtones and switch between AM-PM or 24-hour mode.
Cloud & SD Card Record Playback:
Click the "moments" button to play back activities recorded in the cloud or on an SD card. The interface allows users to view recordings by date and time, with options for CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4.
Live Monitor and Unlocking:
The doordeer indoor monitor supports up to 4 channels of live video simultaneously. Users can enlarge a small window by clicking on it.
Calling, Talking, and Unlocking:
When a visitor presses the room number or their name at an outdoor station, the indoor monitor will display the video feed from the door station camera and send a ringing notification. Users can answer the call, talk to the visitor, and unlock the door from the indoor monitor.
Adding Second Indoor Monitor:
To add a second indoor monitor in a family house, follow steps 3.1-3.3. When naming the indoor monitor, choose "Extension Monitor" for the new device. Link this second monitor to your first indoor monitor (Master monitor). The same setup applies for third and fourth indoor monitors.
Maintenance Features
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Before adding your first indoor monitor: You need at least one door station added in your doordeer app account. You can bind one or multiple door stations with your indoor monitor or multiple indoor monitors.
- During adding this indoor monitor to your smart phone: Ensure your smart phone's Bluetooth and Cellular Data are turned off. Connect your smart phone to your local WiFi network if you want to use a WiFi connection with your indoor monitor.
- Can indoor monitor work with LAN which do not connect to internet? Yes. When an indoor monitor and door station are on the same local network (LAN), they can work together. Your mobile phone will not get a push notification when the LAN does not connect to the internet.
- Is there any reset button on the indoor monitor? Yes, you can reset this indoor monitor to factory default settings by pressing the reset button on the back of the indoor monitor. You will hear a "dingdong" sound after pressing and holding the reset button.
