W hen p erforming the C leaning and M aintenance op erations,

• w ear p rotection accident-p roof glov es;
• do not use solv ents or infl ammable materials;
• do not use abrasiv e and/or metal sp onges to clean the machine and its comp o-
nents;
• tak e care to av oid disp ersing liq uids in the surrounding area;
• do not w ash granita machine comp onents in a dishw asher;
• do not dry p arts of the granita machine in a conv entional and/or microw av e
ov en;
• do not immerse the machine in w ater;
• do not ex p ose the granita machine to direct sp ray s of w ater;
• for cleaning use only luk ew arm w ater and a suitable sanitizing agent comp ly -
ing w ith 21C F R 17 8 10 10 (in accordance w ith current regulations in the user’s
country ) that w ill not risk damaging machine comp onents;
• on comp leting w ork , mak e sure that all p rotectiv e cov ers and guards that hav e
been remov ed or op ened are set back in p lace and p rop erly secured.
C leaning and sanitization are op erations that must be p erformed w ith utmost
care and on a regular basis to guarantee the q uality of the bev erages disp ensed
and comp liance w ith mandatory hy giene standards.
T he minimum cleaning and sanitizing freq uencies shall be in comp liance w ith
the regulation sp ecifi ed by federal, states or local regolatory agency hav ing
jurisdiction.
