5.5.4 Fluorescence capture
Introduction
Fluorescence image capturing is performed with Epi-illumination (Blue, Green and Red)
or Trans-UV illumination. The Epi-illumination method allows for both single and multi-
channel detection. Fluorescence capturing is performed using a light source and emission
filter.
Fluorescence capture is only available with Lower tray position.
Note:
The methods available in Amersham Imager 680 configurations are described in the

The Custom method allows for different combinations of the blue, green or
red light sources and an emission filter of choice.
