6.2.2 Background subtraction
Desription
This is the second step of the analysis workflow. The options for background subtraction
are presented next to the image.
Use the lane profile button to display separate graphical lane profiles
with the selected lane number displayed in the dropdown list.
Tip:
Use Show background check box to see how each background subtraction
option works. This function shows the background level calculated by each
option.
Tip:
The illustration and tables below describe the background subtraction options.

Use this option when no background should be subtracted from the image.None
Use this option to subtract the background below a baseline between the
lowest points on the lane profile, as though a rubber band was stretched
under the profile.
