H.2.4 FISCO [Fieldbus Intrinsically Safe Concept] (cont.)
Note: The XMT1000 FISCO control drawing is BHGE drawing #752-584. Please consult the factory for a copy
of the drawing.
IMPORTANT: The FISCO cover on the XMT1000 terminal PCB is required to provide a barrier between IS and
non-IS connections. This cover must be installed if the Fieldbus application is FISCO.
The FISCO cover should come installed from the factory, as shown in Figure 128 below. The Fieldbus cables
should be installed through the XMT1000 upper right port for direct entry into the FISCO zone on the
terminal PCB.
