Behind the Refrigerator
Becareful when moving the refrigerator awag
from the wall. Alltgpes of floor coverings can
be damaged, particularlg cushioned coverings
and those with embossed surfaces.
When pushing the refrigerator buck, make
sure gou don't roll over the power cord or
icemuker supplg line (on some models).
Pullthe refrigerator straight out and return it to
position bg pushing it straight in. Moving the
refrigerator in u sidedirection mug result in
damage to the floor covering or refrigerator.
Preparing for Vacation
Forlong vacations or absences,remove food
and unplug the refrigerator. Clean
the interior with u bakingsoda solution
of one tablespoon (15 ml) of baking soda to
one quart (1liter) of water. Leavethe doors
open.
Setthe icemaker power switch
to the OFFpositionand shut off
the water supplg to the refrigerator.
If the temperature can drop below freezing,
have u qualified servicerdrain
the water supplg sgstem (on some models)
to prevent serious propertg damage due
to flooding.
Preparing to Move
Secureall loose items such as shelvesand
drawers bg taping them securelg in place
to prevent damage.
When usingu hand truck to move the
refrigerator,do not rest the front or buck
of the refrigerator against the hand truck.
Thiscould damage the refrigerator. Handle
onlg from the sidesof the refrigerator.
Be sure the refrigerator stags in an upright
position during moving.

Note:Turning the refrigerator off via the controls on the touch panel does not shut off electrical power to the
refrigerator.

The bulbsare located at the top
ofthe compartment, inside the light
shield.Onsome models, a screw
at the front of the light shield will
haveto be removed. On other models,
the screw is located in the pocket located
at the back of the shield.

To remove the light shield,on some
models,press in on the tabs on the sides
of the shield and slide forward and out.
On other models,just slide the shield
forward and out.
After replacing the bulb with an appliance
bulb of the same or lower wattage,
replacethe light shield and screw.When
replacing the light shield, make sure that
the tabs at the back
ofthe shield fit into the slots at
the back of the light shield housing.
Plugthe refrigerator back in.
