with the handlesfacing up,in orderto protectyour
hands.For the bestwash performance,placeother
itemssuchas spoonswith the handlesfacing down.
Avoidallowingitemsto nesttogether,whichmaykeep
them from being properly washed. When loading,
distributeitemsevenlyinthe basket.
Thesilverwarebasketsmay also be used for small
items,suchasmeasuringspoons,babybottlenipples,
plasticlids,or corncobholders.Thesilverwarebasket
coverscanbeclosedto containsmallitems.
TheEasyAccessSilverwareBaskets(onGDF570and
DDTS7Smodels)may be positionedon the front of
eitherthe upperor lowerracks.Securethe basketto
therackusingthe wire loopon the front ofthe upper
and lowerracksto engagethetabson the rearof the
basket.
On other models, the silverware basket may be
positionedby placingthe hookson the backof the
basketoverthetopwireonthe sidesof the lowerrack.
IMPORTANTNOTE:Do not load largeor tall utensils
wherethey may blockthe detergentdispenser,mid
sprayarm,or becometrappedbetweenthe doorand
thegasketwhenthedoorisclosed.
