DESCRIPTION OF STATUS CAUSE OF STATUS INDICATION

The control cannot complete the
potentiometer auto calibration routine
due to potentiometer settings which are
out of range.
This status code will be displayed when any of the
potentiometer values do not meet the criteria outlined
below during the potentiometer auto calibration
routine.

“-86” status code appears on the dash display.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Accelerator, steer angle or brake pots require
external adjustment.
Accelerator, steer angle or brake pots are
currently set out of the range identified below.
Defective controller unit.
•= Replace control.

•= Wiper voltage is greater than
4.5 volts
•= Span voltage is less than 2.6
volts
Steer Angle
Pot
•= Wheel must be straight
•= Wiper voltage cannot be
between 1.90 and 2.40 volts
