2.3.7 Preference Cabinet locations
NOTE: This is applicable for all types of cabinets (including PDB).
The clear width of the service area in front of the cabinet doors to insure electrical safety shall
be at least 0.9 m for all cabinets except the Large Display cabinet (1 meter is necessary for
Large Display cabinet). In cases where 2 cabinets are installed face to face (both sides of the
access way), the clear width shall be at least 1.2 m.
