• Tilt the pump to help drain all of the oil from the pump. The oil can usually be
disposed at commercial motor oil recycling centers.
• Make sure the o-ring is present on the oil drain plug and reinstall the plug using
a screwdriver to secure the plug.
• Fill the pump with ~1/2 quart of fresh Edwards
oil. View the oil level in the window on the
pump. Add enough oil so that the level is above
the minimum level mark, but below the
maximum level mark.
• Replace the oil fill cap.
• If the vacuum hose was disconnected,
reconnect the hose and secure with the hose
clamp.
• Follow the procedures below to reset the timer
for the pump.
To reset the timers for the consumables, the NOA
must be in the Stop or Stand-by mode. From the
Main Menu, use the Arrow Buttons to scroll to
Maintenance and press ENTER. The Maintenance
Menu is displayed. Use the Arrow Buttons to scroll
to Consumables and press ENTER. The display will
change giving the option to view or install the
consumables. Select Install and press ENTER to
display the Consumables Menu. Select the Pump
Oil option and press ENTER to display the Pump Oil
Menu. Press ENTER to display a confirmation
screen. Select Install and press ENTER to reset the
Pump Oil Timer. The Pump Oil Menu will be
displayed with the remaining time reset to 900
