Single oven controls shown set for convection baking,
1 Turn tile Inode selector knob to MANUAl,.
2 Using tile tenil)erature control knob, set tile
desired teinl)erature.
3 Turn tile oven control knob to tile desired
convection setting (CONV. BAIZE, CONV.
ROAST or CONV. BROIl,).
Tile ()veil ON light and tile oven interior
lights tIIFII oil and renlain oil until tile ()veil
control knob has been turned to OFF.
4 Check tile fi)od for aloneness at tile
nlininlunl tiine on the recipe. Cook longei +
if necessary.
5 Turn tile oven control knob to OFF when
convection cooking is finished.
Convection Roast
Use for roasting. When set on Convection Roast
tile outer top eleinent and tile bottoni eleinent
operate whenever heating. Fan operates.
Convection Broil
Use fi)r fish. Tile door nIust be closed when
Convection Broiling. When set on Convection
Broil both top elenients operate whenever
heating. Fan operates.
NOTE:
• You will hear a convection fan while cooking
with this flmture.
• A cooling tim will turn on to cool internal
parts. This is nornial, and tile fan niav

Convection

to see if your cookware leaves rooin fi)i" air
circulation in the oven. If you are baking
with several pans, leave space between theni.
Also, be sure tile pans do not touch each other
or the walls of the ()veil. Use the pan size
reconlnlended in tile recipe.
When baking cookies, you will get the best
results if you use a flat cookie sheet instead
of a pan with low sides.
For recipes like oven-baked chicken, you
should use a pan with low sides. Hot air
cannot circulate well around fi)od in a pan
with high sides.
Paper and Plastic
Heat-resistant l)aper and plastic containei5 that

Any type of cookware will work in your

tile fastest and are reconlinended for
convection baking.
