than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum
or pulsating sound while it isoperating.
Youmay hear a whooshing sound when the doors close.This is
due to pressure equalizing within the refrigerator.
CLICKS, POPS,
CRACKSand SNAPS
Youmay hearcrackingor poppingsoundswhenthe refrigerator
isfirstpluggedin.Thishappensasthe refrigeratorcoolsto
thecorrecttemperature.
Thefreezercontrolwill clickwhenstartingor stopping
thecompressor.
Expansionandcontractionof coolingcoilsduringandafter
defrostcancauseacrackingor poppingsound.
Onmodelswithanicemaker,afteran icemakingcycle,youmay
heartheicecubesdroppingintothe icebucket.

tomaintainthecorrecttemperatures.
Thefanschangespeedsinorderto provideoptimalcoolingand

WATERSOUNDS

makea gurglingnoiselikeboilingwater.
Waterdroppingonthe defrostheatercancausea sizzling,

Refrigerator does not Refrigerator in defrost cycle. Wait about 30 minutes for defrost cycle to end.
