Behind the Refrigerator
Becareful when moving the refriger(]tor
(]w(]y from the w(]ll. Alltypes offloor
coveringsc(]n be d(]m(]ged, p(]rticularly
cushioned coverings (]ndthose with
embossed surf(]ces.
Pullthe refriger(]tor str(]ight out (]nd return it
to position by pushing it str(]ight in. Moving
the refriger(]tor in (]side direction m(]y result
in d(]m(]ge to the floor covering or
refriger(]tor.
When pushing the refrigerator back, make
sure.you don Itro// over the power cord or
icemaker supply line,
Preparing for Vacation
Forlong v(]c(]tions or (]bsences,remove
food (]nd unplug the refriger(]tor. Cle(]n
the interior with (] b(]king sod(] solution of
one t(]blespoon (15 ml)of b(]king sod(]to one
qu(]rt (1liter)of w(]ter. Le(]vethe doors open.
Setthe icem(]ker power switch to the O(off)
position (]nd shut off the w(]ter supply to
the refriger(]tor.
If the temper(]ture c(]n drop below freezing,
h(]ve (]qu(]lified servicerdr(]in the w(]ter
supply system to prevent serious property
d(]m(]ge due to flooding.
Preparing to Move
Secure(]11loose items such (]s shelves(]nd
dr(]wers byt(]ping them securelyin pl(]ce
to prevent d(]m(]ge.
When using (]h(]nd truck to move
the refriger(]tor,do not restthe front or b(]ck
ofthe refriger(]tor (]g(]instthe h(]ndtruck.
This could d(]m(]gethe refriger(]tor. H(]ndle
onlyfrom the sidesof the refriger(]tor.
Be sure the refrigerator stays in an upright
position during moving,
