Requires a R30 size light bulb. Incandescent, CFL or LED bulbs are supported, but not halogen.
Remove assembly and cover ring. Note alignment pins and snap clips on securing collar.
Insert screw base through cover ring hole and align pins to cover ring.
Push cover ring onto securing collar snap clips until they snap into place.
Turn off power, remove bulb, insert new bulb into extender, screw securely.
Screw extender into socket until ratchet clicks. Safety mechanism prevents over-tightening.
Slide cover ring up to ceiling and tighten adjustment ring for a snug fit.
Ensure power is on and test bulb in another fixture to confirm it's working.
Ratchet slipping may indicate socket issues or improper seating. Consult electrician if needed.
Turn off power, do not exceed ratings, indoor use only, install per drawings, no alterations.
