You set the default annotation level from the Viewports tab of System Preferences. Refer to
Chapter 20, Set Viewport Preferences for more information.
6.2 Set series binding preferences
You can toggle series binding on and off using the Series Binding button on the right side
of the viewport control panel. The system series binding setting for the viewport until you click
the button to change the setting.
