3.6 Set ECG Preferences
Use this procedure to set the ECG device preferences.
1.
From the image monitor, click

Click
System Preferences .

From the
System Preferences window, click the ECG tab.

4. In the ECG Device area, select Internal or External .
If Internal is selected, see the Integrated Cardiac Module Operator Manual for information on
the settings described in 5–8 below.

In the Active Lead area, select Lead I , Lead II , Lead III or Auto .
6. In the
Waveform Filter area, select On or Off .
7. In the
Gain area, select 1X , 2X , 4X , 8X or Auto .

In the
Pacer Detect area, select On or Off .
The following settings are for the ECG trace displayed on the scan monitor. See the Cardiac
chapter for more details.
9. In the
Statistics Window Length area, enter a value for seconds (0–99).
