The door handles and trimcan be
cieanedwith a clothdampenedwith
a solutionofmildliquiddishwashing
detergentand water.Dry witha soft
cloth. Don’twaxhandlesor trim.
Keep the finish&m. Wipewith
a cleancloth, lightlydampened
with kitchenappliancewaxor mild
liquiddishwashingdetergent.Dry
and polish with a clean, softcloth.
Do not wipe therefrigeratorwith a
soileddishwashingcloth or wet
towel.Thesewillleavea residuethat
can damagethe paint. Do notuse
scouringpads, powderedcleaners,
bleach or cleaners containing
bleach because theseproductscan
scratch and weakenthe paintfinish.

Withproper care, it will staynew-
lookingand rust-free for years.
Apply a coat of kitchen/appliance
wax when the refrigeratoris new,
and then at least twice a year.

bakingsodato a quartofwater.
This bothcleansandneutralizes
odors. Rinsethoroughlywith water
and wipe dry.
Other parts ofthe refrigerator—
includingdoor gaskets,meatand
vegetabledrawers,QuickStoreunit,
ice storagebin and allplasticparts—
can be cleaned the sameway.Do
notuse cleansingpowdersor other
abrasivecleaners.
Tohelp preventodors, leavean
open box of bakingsodain the rear
ofthe refrigerator,on the top shelf.
Changethe box everythree months.
An open box of bakingsodain the
freezer will absorb stalefreezer
odors.
Do not washanyof your
refrigerator%plasticparts in
yourautomatic dishwasher.
Care shouldbe takenin moving
yourrefrigeratorawayfromthe
wall. Alltypesoffloor coverings

need to keep the condenserclean.

Removethebase grille, ifyour
refrigeratorhas one—seepage4.
Sweepawayor vacuumdustthat is
readily accessibleon condenser
coils, then turn the controlback
on. For best results, use a brush
speciallydesignedfor this purpose.

parts stores. This easy cleaning
operation shouldbe done at least
once a year.
