1. Unplug refrigerator.
2. Turnnumberedtemperature
controlto OFF and pulloff knob.

3. Pull bottom of light panel
downabout X“-just enough to
disengagelip at rearfrom grooves
in retainerson rearwall.
4. Lift panelto disengagetop from
pinson sidewalls,and remove
panel.
After replacingwithsamesize bulb,
reinstallpanel (hangtop on pins;
pull bottomdown,pushit backand
release it to let lip engage grooves
in retainers).Replacetemperature
controlknob in OFF position,turn
it to previoussetting,and plug
refrigeratorbackin.
In Freezer Compartment
1. Unplug refrigerator.
2. Removetheshelfthat’sjustbelow
lightshield.(Shelfwill be easier to
remove if it isemptiedfirst.)
3. Pull plasticlightshieldtoward
you. (It will bendto free tabsfrom
grooves.)
4. Replacebulbwithsamesizebulb.
5. Reinstallshieldandshelf.
6. Plug in refrigerator.
Whenyou goon
vacation -
For extendedvacationsor
absences,shutoff powerto
refrigerator,turn the numbered
controlOFF, clean interiorwith
bakingsodasolutionof one table
spoonofsodato onequartofwater.
Wipe dw. Topreventodors,leave
open boxof sodain refrigerator.
Leave doorsopen.
Forshortervacations removeper-
ishablefoodsand leavecontrolsat
regularsettings.However,if room
temperatureisexpectedto drop
below 60°F. followsame instruc-
tionsas
forextendedvacations.
Move icemakermanualswitchto
OFF positionand be sureto shut
offwatersupply.ON-OFF switch
islocatednearthe frontof the
icemaker.
Whenyou move
Disconnectpowercordfromwall
outlet, removeall foodand clean
and drythe interior.
Secure all looseitemssuchasgrille,
shelvesandstoragepansbytaping
them securelyin placeto prevent
damage.
Be sure refrigeratorstaysin
upright position on/y duringactual
movingand in van. Refrigerator
mustbe securedinvanto prevent
movement. Protectoutsideof
refrigeratorwith blanket.
