eliminatethe slight”plastic”taste
temporarilyimpartedto the water
bythe water reservoir.
Keep ice level to keep icemaker
productive.Cubesejected intoan
emptystoragebin will pile upclose
to the icemakerand pushthefeeler
arm upto the OFF positionprema-
turelywhenthe bin isonly partially
full.Openthe iceaccessdoor,reach
in, levelthe cubes by handand ice
makingwill resume.Keepingcubes
distributedevenly will allowthe
icemakerto produceenoughiceto
fillthe binto itsmaximumcapacity.
Caution:
Undercertainrare circums-
tances, icecubes maybe
discolored,usuallyappearing
witha green-bluishhue..The
causeofthisunusualdiscolor-
ation isapparentlydueto a
combinationof factorssuchas
certaincharacteristicsof local
waters,householdplumbrng
andtheaccumulationofcopper
saltsinan inactivewatersupply
linewhichfeedsthe icemaker.
Continuedconsumptionofsuch
discoloredice cubes maybe
injuriousto health. If suchdis-
colorationisobserved,discard
theice ‘cubesand contactyour

When DispensingIce...
Somecrushedicemaybedispensed
even thoughyouselected CUBES.
This happensoccasionallywhen a
fewcubesinadvertentlyget diverted
to thecrusher.
Sometimesa moundof snowwill
formon the door inthe ice chute.
Thisconditionisnormal,andusually
occurswhenyou havedispensed
crushedice repeatedly.The snow
wiII eventuallyevaporate.

When DispensingWater...
The watersystemprovidesapprox-
imatelysixsuccessive8-ounce
glassfuls-after which,several
hoursmustbe allowedfor replen-
ishedwater reservoirsupplyto cool.
Youprobablywill notdrainall the
chilled water fromthe reservoiron
a singleoccasion.
The firstglassof waterdispensed
may be warmerthan the following
ones.This isnormal.
Dispensedwaterischilled, not
iced. For colderwater,simplyadd
crushedice orcubesbefore dis-
pensingwater.
