Connectivity Setup
3-9-1 Introduction
The Vivid 3N Pro/Expert ultrasound unit can be connected to various connectivity devices, such as
DICOM devices and EchoPac servers. The following sections describe how to connect the system to a
remote archive/work station or a DICOM service, using a TCP/IP connection.

3-9-2-1 Ethernet Switch Connections
An Ethernet Switch, is used to connect the Vivid 3N Pro/Expert system to an EchoPAC PC and a
network printer.
