4-3-1-5 Light Detector Test for Vivid S6 N only
4-3-1-6 Monitor Test
This procedure is performed in stages, in the order shown in the table below. First, verify the monitor
settings and then proceed with the tests that follow.

Boot-up the System in Regular Scanning Mode.

Press LCD (F4 Key) to start the LCD adjustment.

Rotate the Brightness, Contrast and Blue Tint to max
values.
LCD adjustment will change; the status bar for each of
the three parameters will move to the max position.

Select AutoAdjust on the softkey menu.
The Screen will change Brightness, Contrast and Tint
parameters to in accordance with the environmental
lighting.

Boot-up the System in Regular Scanning Mode

Press Config

Under the Connectivity tab, select TCPIP

Select Advanced

In the address bar, type Control panel and
press Enter

From the Control Panel, select Display then
select Settings
Make sure resolution is set to 800 x 600 pixels, 16 bit.
If not, select the correct resolution settings.
7 From the Settings Tab, select Advanced.
Select Intel® Extreme Graphics2 for mobile
> Graphics Properties > Video Overlay.
Make sure the settings are:
• Gamma = 0
• Contrast = 50
• Saturation = 50
• Brightness = 7
• Contrast = 1

When done, press OK to close all windows.
LCD PIXEL TEST:

Boot-up the System in Maintenance Mode

Press Alt +Config to start the diagnostic
package

From the Diagnostic Test Tree, select Back
End.
This will activate PC Doctor diagnostics.

Run the System Diagnostics\Monitor Test.
