8-17-4 Display Rear Cover - Removal Procedure (cont’d)
3.) Loosen and remove the 4 screws (2 on each of the left and right hinges); see: Figure 8-53 below.
4.) Lift the Rear Cover away from the Bottom Assembly.
8-17-5 Display Rear Cover - Installation Procedure
1.) Place the Rear Cover in position on the Bottom Assembly. Checking that the hinges are properly
aligned, fasten the 4 screws (2 on each of the left and right hinges, see: Figure 8-53, above).
2.) Place the Backlight Inverter board in its original position.
3.) Reconnect the Inverter cable and the Micro cable (not available with SW 8.1.2 and higher) to the
Flex (refer to Figure 8-51 on page 8-38).
4.) Mount the LCD Display as described in Section 8-16-5 on page 8-37.
5.) Check that the LCD Display can be tilted upwards and downwards, and that it holds its set position.
6.) Mount the LCD Display Frame as described in Section 8-12-5 on page 8-30.
7.) Mount the keyboard module, the battery, the Handle and reconnect the AC adapter; as described
in Section 8-15-5 on page 8-40.
