Disconnect the driveshaft from the rear axle by
removing the four bolts and lock washers.
STEP 3

Disconnect the driveshaft from the transmission by
removing the four bolts and lock washers. Remove
the driveshaft from the machine.
STEP 4

Mark the two hydraulic hoses for correct assembly.
Loosen and remove the two hydraulic hoses from the
steering cylinder.
STEP 5
Install caps and plugs on all hoses and hydraulic
fittings to prevent contaminating the hydraulic
system.

Remove the brake hose from the fitting on the rear
axle. Install a plug in the hose and a cap on the
fitting.
STEP 7

Place jackstands in front of the rear axle and under
the frame in the location shown.
STEP 8

Loosen the two axle mounting bolts located in front of
the axle. Do not remove the nuts at this time.
