Install a lifting bracket or ring to the engine head as
shown.
STEP 53
Attach a suitable lifting device to the lifting brackets
or rings and a hoist.

Lift the engine high enough for the oil pan to clear the
frame rail. Move the engine over the engine
compartment and lower until the housing bell clears
the flexplate on the torque converter.

Once the housing bell clears the flexplate, slowly
move the engine forward until the mounting flanges
on the housing bell and transmission meet.
