The park brake switch is OFF, but the brakes do not release.
Is there 12 volts at the park brake solenoid?
YES
Replace the park brake solenoid coil
and or the park brake solenoid valve
cartridge.
NO
Is the park brake fuse open?
YES
Replace the fuse.
NO
Is there 12 volts to the park brake
relay switch terminal #4?
YES
NO
Is there 12 volts to the relay
coil terminal #3?
Repair or replace the wire between
the relay and the fuse.
YES NO
Is there 12 volts at the relay
terminal of the park brake switch?
Replace the park brake relay.
YES
NO
Replace the park brake switch.
