This machine is equipped with an independant switch for
the scoring blade. The switch assembly is equipped with
a “START” button E and with "STOP" button F.
To start the scoring blade: press the "START" button for the
main blade A, then press the "START" button for the scor
-
ing blade E.
To stop the scoring blade: Press on the “STOP” button F.
Note: If you stop the main blade first, the scoring blade will
automatically stop too. To start the scoring blade, the main
blade has to be started first.
This machine is equipped with an additionnal safety stop
switch.
In case of emergency,
press the stop button with twist
lock-out device G.
Once this button has been pressed, the machine can
only be restarted by turning the button to the right to
release the stop button.
Note: If the machine doesn't start, verify that the safety
switch has been released.
ON/OFF MAGNETIC POWER SWITCH (MAIN BLADE)
This machine is equipped with a magnetic 2-step safety
switch to prevent unintentional start-up and unauthorized
use. The switch assembly is equipped with a “START” but
-
ton A, an extra-large easy access stop panel B, and a
lock-out key C.
To start the machine: Insert the lock-out key C and press
on the “START” button A.
To stop the machine: Press on the “STOP” panel, B. Once
the “STOP” panel has been pressed, the machine can
only be started by pressing once again on the “STOP”
panel to release the green button, then by pressing on
the start button A.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The safety switch is equipped with an overload protection
feature to prevent an electrical overload from damaging
the motor. In the event of a spike in line voltage or ampe-
rage draw, the overload protector will automatically cut
off power to the motor.
To reset the overload protection switch
1. Set the power switch to the OFF position, and dis-
connect the machine from the power source.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws on the control box front cover.
Remove the cover and press the reset button D. Re-ins-
tall the control box cover and reconnect the machine
to the power source.
