ROAD MAPS
During navigation, the unit displays the map of the area sur-
rounding the vehicle, highlighting the way to follow to reach
the destination set. The map also shows the surrounding roads,
as well as all the point of interest available in the area.
The position of the vehicle is indicated by the red symbol
showing the vehicle’s heading, whereas the direction to fol-
low is highlighted by an arrow overlapping the road suggested.
The vehicle’s position symbol turns gray if the signal from the
GPS device is not sufficient to determine the position.
The points of interest, that indicate the availability of ser-
vices such as restaurants, hotels, filling stations, etc., are
represented on the road map by the relevant icons. The list of
the icons available is reported below.
