Understanding Composer Tools
This book describes the basic tools of Composer including how to set up the work surface to
suit your working environment and maximize your productivity. You will find all you need
to know about working with layers and information on using the basic selection tools in
Composer.
Chapter 5: Setting Up Composer’s Work Surface describes all tools in the Composer
window, how to set defaults for your working environment and the details of using the Tools
> Options dialog box.
Chapter 6: Using Layers explains how to use layers to make it easier to manage complicated
jobs or create versions of a job in the same file. This chapter also describes the advantages of
designing and outputting with layers.
Chapter 7: Selecting Elements of the Design describes how to use the selection tools and the
Selection menu commands.
