  First, ensure the power cord is properly connected. Next, verify that the building circuit breaker hasn't tripped, and that the outlet is working with another device. Also, check that the safety lock is not engaged. If a footswitch is installed, make sure its plug is securely seated in the chair port. If a fatal error occurred due to a poor connection, perform a fatal error reset by pushing the back up and back down buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds to reset the system to factory defaults.

  An acoustic warning signal indicates a potential issue. A 200-millisecond beep followed by a 200-millisecond pause suggests a lost chair position; try pushing the home button to reset the chair. If that doesn't work, perform a fatal error reset by pushing the back up and back down buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds to reset the system to factory defaults, and then press the Auto Return button to reinitialize the system. A long continuous beep indicates the chair is in fatal error mode, so follow the same fatal error reset instructions. If the chair resumes operation, the alarm was a false error. A 5-second beep followed by silence indicates the chair is overheating; let the motor rest for 18 minutes before using the chair again.
