What to do if my Global-Tek GT-CR1/BU Dishwasher has no machine operation?
    • R
      Russell BrownAug 12, 2025
If your dishwasher isn't starting, here are several things to check: First, check the fuse or circuit breaker. The conveyor may be jammed, so clear any obstructions. If you're using the auto timer, reset or replace it. If equipped with a table limit switch, reset it. Also, reset the manual overload protector. Ensure the door is completely closed. The door interlock switch may be damaged and require replacement. The contactor for rack transport may need servicing. Finally, adjust the clearance between the clutch and sensor to 2-4mm.

Other potential causes include water leaking past the manifold 'o' ring, obstructions in the pump leading to loss of water pressure, incorrect water temperature, incorrect detergent dispensing, or loss of water in the tank. To resolve this, start by removing any drain obstructions, checking the drain valve, replacing the missing end plug, and clearing any obstructions in the wash arm nozzle. You may also need to replace the manifold 'o' ring, remove pump obstructions, check the circuit breaker to the electric heat supply or main steam val...
