DRIVE MODES
F
The Drive Modes modify the overall driving
experience. Each mode automatically adjusts
various vehicle settings based on driving
preferences, weather and road conditions.
Available modes are displayed on the infotain-
ment screen.
Rotate the control knob on the center con-
sole to select a mode. Modes may include:
Normal – Use for everyday driving.
O-Road – Use for enhanced control during o-road driving at moderate speeds.
Terrain – Use for enhanced control in low-speed o-road conditions in 4HI or
4LO. This mode enables one-pedal driving, which automatically applies the brakes
when accelerator pedal position is decreased.
Tow/Haul – Use when towing or hauling heavy
loads in stop-and-go trac or through rolling terrain.
Baja (AT4X only) – Use for enhanced control dur-
ing o-road driving at higher speeds.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE

Press an icon on the control knob on the center con-
sole to shift the transfer case.
The four-wheel-drive status is displayed on the Driver Information Center. Refer to the
Owner’s Manual for the shift procedures.
AUTO Automatic Four-Wheel-Drive High – Use when traction conditions vary.
2 Two-Wheel-Drive High – Use for most streets and highways.
4 Four-Wheel-Drive High – Use when extra traction is needed, or in most o-road
driving. Not intended for dry pavement.
4 Four-Wheel-Drive Low

– Use when driving o-road in deep sand, mud or snow,
or on steep hills. Not intended for dry pavement.
N Neutral
F
– Use when towing the vehicle.
OFF-ROAD PERFORMANCE DISPLAY
Select the O-Road icon on the
infotainment screen to display real-time,
o-road performance data.
Baja – Displays G-force with maximum
values, steering angle and 4WD status.
Terrain – Displays pitch and roll with
maximum values and tire pressure.
Overlanding – Displays an altimeter and compass.
To reset the maximum values achieved, display the value and then select the
Reset icon.
