A key feature of the Go-tcha Classic is its "Auto-catch" function. When this feature is turned "ON," the device will automatically attempt to catch Pokémon and collect items from Pokéstops without requiring manual button presses. If Auto-catch is enabled, the device will vibrate and animate the screen to show successful or unsuccessful catches and item collections, including the number of items collected from a Pokéstop. The Auto-catch function can be toggled "ON" or "OFF" by pressing the Go-tcha Classic button until the desired setting is selected. To turn Auto-catch "OFF," users need to press and hold the Go-tcha button until "Auto-catch OFF" is selected.

Once fully charged, the unit can be returned to the wristband.

Users can check the charging status by pressing the screen button while the device is connected to the charger. A charging animation will appear to confirm that the Go-tcha is charging. If another animation is running, users should wait for it to stop and the screen to go blank before pressing the button to confirm the charging animation.

The device is designed for continuous use, with a full charge providing approximately 12 hours of active gameplay. In standby mode, a full charge can last for approximately 48 hours. A full charge typically takes about 1 hour.
