Touch, hold, & drag. Touch & hold an item for a moment and then,
without lifting your finger, move your finger on the screen until you
reach the target position. You can move apps around on the Home
screen.
Swipe or slide. Quickly move your finger across the surface of the
screen, without pausing when you first touch (so you don’t drag
something instead).
Help & support
For most Android apps, you can get to the Help and Support features
from the Menu. Other apps include a Menu icon that you can
touch. This book introduces just a few of the key features that come
with Android 5.1.1.
Settings
Settings control the core Android settings for networks,
hardware, security, etc.
Wi-Fi
Connect to a Wi-Fi network to update the device:
1. Go to Settings > Device > Wi-Fi.
2. From here you can configure your connection to a Wi-Fi
network. *Make sure the network does not require a login
from a webpage as there is no browser included with the
Operating System. It is best to use your home Wi-Fi network
to do software updates.
Display & Lights
Change the display settings on your device by following these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Device > Display & Lights
