Usage Features
Assembly Process:
The assembly process is detailed across multiple steps, designed for two people and estimated to take approximately 45 minutes. Key steps include:
- Preparation: Check all components and fittings against the provided lists (pages 4 and 5). Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Initial Frame Assembly: Attach cam dowels (B) and wooden dowels (D) to the side panels (2, 3) and top panel (1). Connect the top panel (1) to the side panels (2, 3) using cam locks (A).
- Cross Bar and Bottom Panel: Secure the top front cross bar (6), top bottom cross bar (7), and bottom panel (8) to the side panels using cam locks (A) and cam dowels (B).
- Back Panel: Attach the back panel (13) using nails (I).
- Door Assembly: Assemble the door panels (10) with big shelves (11) and small shelves (12) using cam locks (A), cam dowels (B), and cam lock housings (F).
- Handle Installation: Attach handles (G) to the door panels using screws (G).
- Door Installation: Insert the assembled door units into the main cabinet frame.
- Wall Fixing: Secure the cabinet to the wall using the provided wall fixings (H) to prevent tipping. This is a crucial safety step.
Safety Advice (Important):
- Always check that all components and tools are listed on pages 4 and 5.
- Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into their groups.
- Keep children and animals away from the work area; small parts could choke if swallowed.
- Make sure you have enough space to lay out the parts before starting.
- Do not stand or put weight on the product; this could cause damage.
- Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
- Assemble on a soft, level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor.
- Do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers.
- Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly.
- Ensure starting position is correct before you insert connecting quickfit. Turn clockwise until secure.
- Quickfit head needs to be in the centre.
- Tighten until shoulder is flush with panel. Do not overtighten or undertighten (see example below).
