This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact

Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is equipped with

safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is

open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser

radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and

the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very

important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam

at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the

safety switches.

regarding use of the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move

away from any uorescent lighting, as it may be the cause.

apparatus.

Usage Features:

The boombox is designed for straightforward operation with several user-friendly features:

CD Playback:

Loading a CD:
1. Open the CD door.
2. Place a CD with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD door.
4. Adjust the "Source Switch" to "CD" mode.
5. Press the "Play/Pause" button to start playback.
Controls:
- Play/Pause: Initiates or pauses CD playback.
- Stop: Halts CD playback.
- Skip/Search: Allows skipping between tracks with a short press, or searching within the current track by pressing and holding.
- Repeat: Press once to repeat the current track; press twice to repeat the entire album.
Programming a CD:
1. With a CD loaded, press "Stop."
2. Press "Program." "01" will blink on the display.
3. Use "Skip/Search" buttons to select a desired track.
4. Press "Program" again to add the selected track to the program.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to program up to 20 tracks in a specific order.
6. Press "Stop" to cancel a program.

Radio Operation:

Switching Modes: Adjust the "Source Switch" to "AM" or "FM" radio mode.
Tuning: Turn the "Tuning" dial to select radio stations.
Reception: The built-in AM/FM antenna's reception can be improved by adjusting the boombox's physical position.

3.5mm Audio Input:

Connecting an External Device:
1. Plug one end of a 3.5mm audio input cable (not included) into the "Line In" input on the back of the boombox.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the audio output of an external device (e.g., MP3 player).
3. Press the "Power" button to turn on the unit.
4. Slide the "Source Switch" on the front of the unit to "Line In."
5. Audio from the connected device will play through the boombox's speakers.
