3. Buckle the Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Seat Belt
Be sure the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt goes
behind the armrests.
Be sure the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt lies
low across your child’s hips.
Be sure the shoulder belt lies across your child’s
shoulders, between the neck and edge of shoulder.
The belt guides should be even with or just above
the shoulders.
