Fault description Possible cause Troubleshooting
Seat does not respond when the swivel
button is pressed (if fitted).
• Linkage rod is jammed or detached.
• Cylinder for swivel is defective.
• Valve for swivel is defective.
• Air hose for swivel is leaky.
Assure smooth running of the linkage
rod or hang it up
(see Chapter 3.47.1).
Replace the cylinder for swivel
(see Chapter 3.47.2).
Replace the valve for swivel
(see Chapter 3.47.3).
Check the air hoses for leakage and
replace them, if necessary
(see Chapter 3.47.4).
Vertical shock absorption does not become
harder or softer when the lever for vertical
shock absorber adjustment is turned forwards
or backwards.
• Bowden pull wire for vertical shock
absorber adjustment is not correctly
adjusted.
• Bowden pull wire of vertical shock
absorber adjustment is torn.
Check the Bowden pull wire for
vertical shock absorber adjustment
and adjust it, if necessary
(see Chapter 3.10).
Replace the Bowden pull wire for
vertical shock absorber adjustment
(see Chapter 3.11).
