between the heater cable and the cable for
seat cushion heater as well as the electrical
connection (D) between the cable for seat
cushion heater and the cable for backrest
heater.
• Measure the resistance at the contacts in the
plug of backrest heater (2-pin):
K1 (yellow) Ω K2 (black)
2.14 Ω (±10 %) (at approx. 20 °C)
< 1.93 Ω or
>> 2.35 Ω
Proceed with inspection
step no. 4.3.
Replace the backrest
(Chapter 3.30).
4.3 • Short-circuit the socket for the backrest heater
(2-pin).
• Measure the resistance at the contacts in the
plug of the seat cushion heater (3-pin):
K1 (black) Ω K2 (red)
K1 (black) Ω K3 (yellow)
3.18 Ω (±10 %) (at approx. 20 °C)
< 2,86 Ω or
>> 3.5 Ω
Replace the heater cable
(see Chapter 3.20).
Replace the seat cushion
(see Chapter 3.2).
