OVERVIEW
Grandstream HandyTone Analog Telephone Adapt-
ers/IAD series offers a comprehensive line of afford-
able VoIP access devices based on Grandstream’s
innovative and proprietary technology platform. The
HandyTone series offers the entry-level IP Telephony
user superb audio quality, rich functionalities, interop-
erability with the leading 3rd party VoIP providers, and
compatibility with most service providers. The Handy-
Tone series is compact, works with any cordless phone
and fax machines and offers the simplicity of plug and
dial, making it ideal for the basic IP telephony user

HT702 CONFIGURATION
1. Connect a standard touch-tone analog tele-
phone (or fax machine) to PHONE 1 or PHONE 2 port.
2. Insert the Ethernet cable into the LAN port of
HandyTone and connect the other end of the Ether-
net cable to an uplink port (a router, a modem, etc.).
3. Using the HandyTone embedded web server
or IVR (Interactive Voice Prompt) menu, you can further
confi gure the phone using either a static IP or DHCP.
CONNECTING THE HANDYTONE
1. From the analog phone, press *** to get into
the IVR menu. Enter option 02 to obtain the Handy-
Tone’s IP address.
2. Type the HandyTone’s IP address in your PC
browser.
3. Log in using password “admin” to confi gure
the HandyTone.
