Only operate shaper in counter-clockwise direction to avoid kickback, collet loosening, and injury or death.
Completely thread the drawbar up into the router bit spindle approximately 10-15 turns until tight.
Align the keyway with the spindle cartridge guide pin, and seat the router bit spindle into the spindle cartridge.
Hold spindle shank with a wrench, thread drawbar nut upward, and tighten with a wrench.
