4.2.3.2. Normal- Measurement Mode
This mode allows a 4-terminal resistance measurement to be made from 1 m Rs
10 k
. No external devices (except the two resistors ) are required with the 6675A
to make this measurement.
4.2.3.3. High-
Measurement Mode
This mode allows a 2-terminal resistance measurement to be made from 100 k
Rs 100 M , Rx 1 G and can be done with the internal high voltage supply of
the 6675A.
Here Program Out is a ±90 mA current supply with 30 volt compliance. This
signal is suitable for driving a Guildline model 9607 High Voltage Reversing Switch
when an external high voltage power supply is used.
Relay/Turns Switching.
A note on the relay board and turns switching. The relay board is controlled
via the fibre optic interface through the primary turns module (from which it
gets its power). All turns switching is done by guarded ultra-high impedance
relays. All turn switch interconnect wiring is done on guarded ceramic
standoffs. This minimizes any current leakage paths that could cause an error
in the measurement.
