Section 7
7-21
9. Set the number of turns to 6480 and ensure that the amplitude of the
voltage is 1.5 V for both current polarities.
10. Set the number of turns to 3240 and ensure that the amplitude of the
voltage is 1.5 V for both current polarities.
11. Set the number of turns to 648 and ensure that the amplitude of the
voltage is 1.5 V for both current polarities.
12. Set the number of turns to 8747 and vary the current from 0.033 mA
to 0.037 mA in 0.001 mA steps, reversing the current polarity for
each setting. In each case, the amplitude of the voltage should be
13 V. The highest voltage should occur at 0.036 mA.
13. Set the current to 0 mA and the number of turns to 0.
c) Output Impedance Calibration
1. Remove the 10 resistors and the links from the Rs and Rx front
panel terminals.
2. Turn the 6675A Power OFF.
3. Disconnect RED wires #1 and #2 and BLUE wires #15 and #16.
4. Connect the BLUE wire from TP104 on the Primary Current Drive
PCB to the BLU wire from the Rx C
2
terminal on the 6675A front
panel (i.e. bypass the Comparator Toroid's Nx winding.)
NOTE:
A male-to-male interface wire will be required.
5. Connect the RED wire from TP102 on the Servo-loop PCB to the
RED wire from the Rs C
2
terminal on the 6675A front panel (i.e.
bypass the Comparator Toroid's Ns winding.)
NOTE:
A female-to-female interface wire will be required.
6. Short Rx C
1
to Rx C
2
.
7. Connect a 1 k, 0.1% resistor across Rs C
1
and Rs C
2
.
