3.9. 6675A DATA ACQUISITION SOFTWARE
A computer program that can assist with the remote control and operation of the model 6675A is
included with Volume II of the 6675A Technical Manual.
The Guildline 6675A Data Acquisition software, ResCal, requires the following hardware and
software for proper execution.
Hardware
 An 80386 or 80486 based IBM or compatible computer.
 At least 4 megabytes of memory.
 A hard drive with at least 4 megabytes of free space for the Guildline 6675A
Data Acquisition files.
 A monitor and graphics card compatible with Windows.
 A mouse supported by Windows.
 Any printer supported by Windows.
 National Instruments GPIB Controller.
Software
 MS-DOS or PC-DOS version 3.3 or later.
 Microsoft

Windows version 3.1 or later.
 National Instruments driver software.
The 6675A distribution software package supports the National Instruments GPIB-
PC interface card only. Other IBM-PC interface cards will be supported with
further releases of the software. It is important that the National Instruments GPIB-
PC interface card be properly configured prior to running the program and
attempting to communicate with the 6675A hardware.
