Setting Up Your Guinness MicroDraught

Clean Guinness Pint Glass

Ensures glasses are perfectly clean, naturally dried, and stored correctly for optimal use.

Chill Guinness Can

Instructions to refrigerate Guinness™ cans for at least 24 hours at 4-5°C for proper dispensing.

Clamp and Connect Power

Secure the unit to the counter and connect the power cable, ensuring the ON/OFF switch is accessible.

Confirm Unit Ready

Insert MicroDraught Can

Steps for opening the unit lid and correctly inserting the MicroDraught Can.

Position Glass for Pour

Place glass at 45° with spout close, angling slowly for the initial pour.

Initiate Pouring Handle

Gently pull the handle backwards to start pouring if the can is at the correct temperature.

Pouring Guinness Draught

Return Handle and Settle

Return handle to upright and place glass under spout to allow the first pour to settle for ~60 seconds.

Second Pour and Stop Point

Push and hold handle for the second pour until the head reaches the glass top, then stop.

Form Dome Head and Serve

Liquid creates a domed head; unit signals readiness. Enjoy your perfectly poured pint.

Eject Can and Recycle

Press the eject button to remove the used can; Cans are 100% recyclable aluminum.

Guinness MicroDraught Cradle Installation

Install Cradle and Insert Glass

Install the cradle, remove rubber grommets, and insert the glass at the specified angle.

Maintaining Your MicroDraught

Spout Assembly Cleaning

Wash the spout assembly regularly in hot water; do not attempt to disassemble it.

Drip Tray Cleaning

Clean the drip tray frequently, and after each use, in hot water or a dishwasher.
