Beforeservicingorcleaningunit,orinstallingalightkit,switchpoweroffatservicepanelandlock
servicepaneltopreventpowerfrombeingswitchedonaccidentally.Whentheservicedisconnecting
means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.
Installationworkandelectricalwiringmustbedonebyaqualifiedperson(s)inaccordance withall
applicablecodesandstandards,includingfire-ratedconstructioncodesandstandards.
Ifthefanwillbemountedtoaceilingjoist, thejoistmustbeabletosupportthemovingweightofthe
fan(atleast220lbs.)
Whencuttingordrillingintowallorceiling,donotdamageelectricalwiringandotherhiddenutilities.
Thisunitmustbegrounded.
AfterInstallationiscomplete,makesurethatallconnectionsaresecuretoprevent thefanfromfalling.
Makesureallwireconnectionsaresecure,andthattherearenoexposedconductorstrands.
Makesurethatyourinstallationwillnotallowthefanto
comeintocontactwithanyadjacentobstacles,suchas
doors,hanginglamps,etc.
Ifyouareinstallingmorethanoneceilingfan,
donotmixthebladesets.
Thefanmustbemountedwithatleast7feetofclearance
betweenfanbladesandfloor.
